 Ambrosia June 2002 marked the world release of Drew Estate's first "Spiced Cigar Blend", Ambrosia. Taking experimental blending to its most extreme dimension, Ambrosia came to life over an incredible journey in search of raw materials necessary in the development of ACID and Natural Cigars.
During this time, they discovered exotic native spices from South Asia and Europe and blended them with two very distinct and different classes of tobacco - genuine vintage tobacco leaves from Honduras, and Nicaraguan tobacco leaves grown on their own farm in Esteli from their very first harvest.
After 120 days of aging, all of the Ambrosia's "ploomed" while vivid and complex tastes developed. The final stage of curing took place in cedar cabinets for 45 days, where the cigars picked up an aromatic quality, enhancing the already unique spiced flavor.

 Connecticut Yankee A taste that hasn't been around for almost 200 years. Connecticut Yankee cigars feature a genuine Connecticut Grown Havana-Seed Wrapper. Neither broad leaf nor shade, Havana-Seed is grown in the Connecticut River Valley, the small piece of land in Connecticut where some of the world's premier tobacco is grown. In the early 1800's this was the predominant plant of choice for the tobacco farmers of that region. Havana-Seed plants were dark and delicious but production dwindled as the Connecticut growers favored the larger, thicker leaves of broadleaf. A very rare wrapper in the cigar world today, Victor Sinclair found a small cache of Havana-Seed aging in an old tobacco barn. Since the 1970s, Macanudo Connecticut Shade vintage-quality harvests have occurred only in 1979, 1984, 1988, 1993, 1997 and 2000. The Vintage Cabinet Selections that display those years have been released in different quantities approximately three years after their tobaccos were harvested.
